I've been to this restaurant multiple times, by myself and with friends. Everybody describes it as a hole in the wall. Which is kinda true. The building doesn't look presentable and it is very easy to miss if you don't know where you are going. But you are in for a treat. Their food is very tasty, prices are affordable and service is pretty good too. They do have strange decorations on the walls, like horses or cows (in a sushi place?) . But who cares if the food is good, right? They offer take outs, which I haven't tried before but I'm planning on doing so during crazy busy work weeks. Parking is easy. I've never seen them packed to the point you can't find a parking spot. All in all, good affordable neighborhood restaurant.

We happened to be close, so we stopped by just in time for lunch opening. It was surprisingly well set inside and people came in throughout our stay. The place was somewhat inside the neighborhood and had small sign, so you can miss it easily. Okay, for the food, I ordered the teriyaki beef bento box. Others ordered other things off of the lunch special, but all seemed to have some Chinese 'fusion' flavor, while not exactly Japanese, it was okay. Perhaps sushi would have been better, but the chef seemed to put 'extra' umpfh on nigiri. If you're familiar with Japanese, you'll know this.

Finally stopped into this little shop in my neighborhood. The service was quick and friendly and I'm looking forward to returning. I enjoyed the Crazy Dog roll (focused on tempura shrimp and myriad toppings; on the recommendation of the chef) though it had more going on than I'd typically choose. That and an order of pork gyoza was a little too much food for lunch, but overall very high quality. This is a no frills kind of joint. I do wish I could have ordered a beer.

This is my favorite go to lunch spot in our neighborhood! It's a small space but the service is top notch. The food is great and always fresh. We always get sushi and a rice dish! The veggie tempura is so tasty and a great starter. Miso soup is also great! Y'all will not be disappointed-check it out!

Have tried to go multiple times, disappointed EVERY time. Tonight was my last try with them.
First of all, it always has thrown me that their eel sauce is light and translucent, and it doesn't taste right.
Tonight, I went with three friends. Two of their orders came out incorrect and missing ingredients.
The third friend ordered the tuna tataki. I wish we had thought to take pictures. For $10, she got five bite-sized morsels of "tuna." It looked incredibly dyed, and it had no flavor. She tried one of the bites, as did me and another of our friends, just to confirm it didn't taste anything like tuna. The other two bites (worth $2 a piece apparently) were left untouched.
Please don't waste your money here, there's a better option in the neighborhood.
